I’m honored to have been named the 2018 Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J. Visiting Fellow in Catholic Studies at Loyola University, Chicago, for the fall semester. I’ll be teaching one course on the Catholic literary tradition and participating in the work of the Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage. This fellowship will also give me time to work on my new book project (the subject of another post!). My sincere gratitude to both the former Hank Center director, Fr. Mark Bosco, S.J., and the current director, Professor Michael Murphy. I’m looking forward to my time in that community and the great city of Chicago.
